Trigo Peruano (Peruvian Wheat) Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 diced white potatoes
- 1 cup broth vegetable, cilantro, parsley, huacatay and mint
- 1 tbsp of ground garlic
- 4 cup of cooked wheat
- 1 cup of fresh cheese, diced evaporated milk
- ¾ cup of liquefied yellow pepper
- 1 slice of hot pepper
- 1 cup of turkey breast cut into cubes
- 2 tbsp of liquefied chili panca
- 1 cup of minced onion
- 1 pinch salt pepper cumin
Instructions
- At first, in a pot, make a dressing with 1 tablespoon of ground garlic, 1 cup of chopped onion, 1/4 cup of liquefied yellow pepper, 2 tablespoons of liquefied panca chili, salt, pepper and cumin, letting it cook for 15 minutes.
- Then, add 1 cup of turkey breast cut into cubes and browned for one minute, 4 cups of cooked wheat, 2 white potatoes cut into knots and vegetable broth, bringing it to a boil.
- Besides, add cilantro, parsley, huacatay, mint, 1 slice of hot pepper and 1 cup of diced fresh cheese and then stir well for a few moments.
- And finally, we add a jet of evaporated milk and move the preparation
