Peruvian Picante de Mariscos – Spicy seafood Recipe
It is an exquisite dish that somehow represents the great variety of Peruvian gastronomy inputs, that is why there are so many marine dishes like this that we present to you.
Ingredients
- 10 prawns
- 150 gr octopus
- 100 gr squid rings
- 5 red tomatoes
- 100 gr red pepper
- 100 gr red onion
- 3 garlic cloves.
- 1 tabasco chili pepper.
- 1 pinch of ground chili pepper.
- 100 gr carrots, green peas, cron
- 1 very little salt.
- 1 very little pepper.
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp sugar dessert.
Instructions
- Blend the tomatoes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained, add the onion, red pepper, garlic and blend the whole again.
- In a pot with oil add the sauce and cook over low heat for 10 minutes, then add sugar to regulate the acidity of the tomato.
- Add the peas and continue cooking over low heat for 5 more minutes.
- Add salt and pepper to the sauce.
- To finish, add the seafood seasoned with salt and pepper along with the Tabasco pepper and the ground chilli.
- Continue simmering for an additional 10 minutes.
